We’ve been actively working behind the scenes to improve the care we provide our patients here at in2GREAT.
One of the outcomes has been a more focused mission statement for our team AND patients to rally around.
But the big change (I’m most excited about!) was creating a portfolio of new health screenings. We wanted to make it easy for new patients to get answers fast, in a simple process, that was more affordable, while meeting our high standards of testing. More on that in a minute.
Through this process we’ve wrestled with our unique approach to functional medicine.
What makes in2GREAT different? What sets us apart from other clinics out there?
These differences are embodied by our founder and infused into every aspect of what we do. They are so much a part of who we are, that it took some reflection to actually name them as an inherent part of us.
The in2GREAT Way
We had to be honest with ourselves, we’re not like other clinics.
In our desire to help families heal we had to own our different approach to healthcare. And by leaning into our differences we were able to create a better healthcare experience.
So what makes us different from other functional medicine clinics out there?
- We only use or recommend the best
- We’re setting the standard
- Everything you need under one roof
We are unashamedly committed to using the best. The best labs, the best compounding pharmacy’s, the best therapies, the best supplements, the best partners, the best products, and the best people. The best, is a premium investment. But when it comes to investing in your body and your future, would you want to be using anything other than the very best?
in2GREAT is setting the standard in functional medicine. We are not content with last decade’s research or treatment protocols. We work with the leading experts to diagnose and effectively treat the most complex health conditions. From the testing we conduct, to the treatments and therapies we utilize, we are committed to helping our patients get results.
Everything you need under one roof. Overcoming a chronic condition is challenging enough. That’s why we do everything we can to help our patients get the care they need with the least stressful process possible. We’ve worked with industry leading experts around the world to offer some of the best labs and treatments available all here within our clinic. No need to be referred out to a speciality collection site or treatment center, get it all done in one stop.
These beliefs are foundational to the way we approach clinical care and have greatly influenced the changes we’re making here at in2GREAT.
With that in mind, here’s a peek into what we’ve been working on.
Whenever I find myself thick in the weeds of a project that is theoretically important I have to stop and ask myself why.
Why this project? What are we really trying to fix?
At their core, most projects are an attempt to make something better. You could also say they are an attempt to fix what’s not working.
While I’m sure you’re DYING to know the inner workings of our medical clinic, I’ll spare you.
Here are a few of the problems we’ve been trying to solve:
- An inefficient intake process for new patients, insufficient information gathered from our intake forms.
- Lack of resources for new patients after a consultation. Even after meeting with a provider for 2 hours, they would leave with questions about diagnoses, lab results, or their treatment plan.
- Unclear process for new patients to get started, unknown cost and level of commitment required to become a patient.
And we decided to do something about it.
New Intake Forms
Getting up to speed on a new patient’s medical history is critical. For us, this is a combination of intake forms, in-person consultation, and, of course, reviewing any available labs.
It’s important to be thorough in the early stages of a new patient case to make sure we don’t miss any clues. Our intake forms were collecting the data in general, but were disjointed and left our providers wanting to know more right out of the gate.
Which is why we decided to create our own. Our new intake pulls from a variety of industry leading medical history forms and compiles them into a single experience; giving our providers a comprehensive view of a new patient’s medical history right out of the gate.
New Patient Resources
Our providers do their best to thoroughly communicate in new patient appointments, but more often than not the sheer volume of information becomes overwhelming.
“What did they say this lab result means? How is that connected to my current symptoms? What was I supposed to do next?” It’s a lot, we know.
That’s why we worked with an informational designer to create some new resources for our patients. These documents are designed to help our patients leave their appointments with peace of mind:
- Summary of Findings
- Health & Risk Assessment
- 6-Month Roadmap
- Patient Protocol

All the important details of their case will be documented in an easy-to-understand format and printed out. We hope these resources give patients peace of mind knowing they are on the right path to recovery.
Our newly designed patient protocol document makes it even easier to understand which supplements to take, and when to take them. Along with lifestyle recommendations, therapies, and follow-up labs.
These came out beautifully and we think our patients are going to love them!

New Health Screenings
The culmination of everything we’ve been working on over the past 6+ months are our new health screening offerings.
Our old health screening process was somewhat ambiguous. While highly personalized, it presented a lot of unknowns for the patients related to scope of testing and cost. We want our patients to feel empowered each step of the way to know exactly what they are getting into.
We needed a cost effective option that met our high standards of in-depth testing and was easy to understand. It also needed to be flexible to accommodate the variety of conditions that our patients were facing.
- Make it easy for patients
- Make it cost effective
- Uncompromising to the in2GREAT way
- Get our patients answers faster
Somehow our team managed to create an experience that so well embodies our mission statement AND is the essence of the in2GREAT way.

Core elements that went into consideration when we created the health screening products.
- Get answers, and fast. Comprehensive look at the patients medical history. Gather as much health data as possible, to quickly understand what is going on in their body. We do this three ways, intake form, provider interview/consult, analyzing data from testing.
- Streamlined costs. Patients would know exactly how much the labs + consults would cost. And by bundling together it becomes far more cost effective.
- Best healthcare experience you’ve ever had. Timeliness, personalized, friendly, professional, thorough, you’re a priority to our team.
What started as creating a new stand alone health screening option, morphed into a whole host of improvements for our clinic. I’m really proud of the work our team and extended contributors put in to bring all this to life. I think our patients will benefit for years to come as a result of these new updates.
Breaking Free from Conventional Healthcare: A Journey to True Wellness
A traditional healthcare approach often focuses on treating your symptoms, not the person. You’re a list of diagnoses, not a unique individual with a complex story. But what if there was a different way? A functional and holistic healthcare approach views your body as an interconnected ecosystem. It’s about detective work – identifying the root causes of your health issues, not just masking them with medication. Imagine understanding the “why” behind your fatigue, your digestive problems, or your anxiety. This is the power of personalized care, and it starts with understanding your body’s unique needs.
So Fresh and So Clean, Clean
While it’s nearly impossible in today’s modern world to completely avoid toxins, being cautious about the products you use in your home and on your body can reduce your exposure to toxins and increase your body’s threshold.
This spring, try a fresh approach by integrating natural solutions into your spring-cleaning routine.
