How Long Do IVs Take?

How long does an IV infusion take? Well, it depends. IV infusions can take anywhere from five minutes if we’re just doing a simple push with a Mini Myers cocktail of some sort, or just some simple B vitamins. So, we would put that in a syringe and just push it in over a five, ten minute period.

With so much variability, we’ll have that discussion with you individually, based on the medicines or IV recommendations that are made.
