Our New Patient Process
This section details are our new patient process, along with some questions people have about everything that’s included in the first 2 appointments, pricing, no insurance, and payments.
Step 1:
Fill out your intake form and share recent lab work
What’s this for?
You’ll receive a link to our intake form with a lot of questions about your past and current health. This info will be used by our providers to prepare for your 1st appointment. We also ask that you share any previous lab work from the last 6-12 months.
Step 2:
Your 1st Appointment
This is your 1st, in-depth appointment with one of our functional medicine providers, where we discuss a complete picture of your health and begin the process to uncover the root cause of your health challenges.
What’s included:
- 1.5–3 hour appointment with one of our functional medicine providers
- Comprehensive review of your health history, current concerns, goals, intake forms, and any previous labs you shared
- An initial personalized protocol developed specifically for you, with recommendations for follow-up functional lab testing to uncover the root cause of your concerns and learn about the holistic health of your body systems, therapy treatments, supplements, nutrition, and lifestyle.
Appointment Cost: $1,250 ($350 non-refundable deposit paid at time of scheduling)
Step 3:
Functional Labs Follow-up
After your 1st appointment, we’ll schedule a short lab-draw appointment for the follow-up functional lab testing your provider recommended.
Additional details:
Functional Labs & Analysis Cost: $3,000-$10,000 on average; costs vary, as every recommendation is based on the patient’s unique health challenges and current health.
Payment: Like most functional medicine practices, we do not accept insurance or offer payment plans. But you are welcome to file your own claim if you want to try to utilize your health insurance. (Keep in mind, most insurance plans do not cover functional services or the lab tests we use)
Step 4:
Wait for labs to come back
What’s next?
While we wait for your lab work to come back, you’ll begin implementing your initial protocol. Lab results typically take 3-4 weeks to finalize and prepare for review.
Once we receive your results, our providers will review and analyze the data before your 2nd appointment. At this time we’ll also call you to schedule this appointment.
Step 5:
Your 2nd Appointment
This is your 2nd, in-depth appointment, this time with both of our functional medicine providers. The providers will thoroughly review your lab results with you, and if necessary, make adjustments to your personalized protocol.
What’s included:
- 1.5–3 hour appointment with both of our functional medicine providers
- Comprehensive review of your new lab results
- Refine your personalized protocol. Now that we have a clearer picture of your health and what the root causes of your health challenges may be, your provider may revisit your protocol and make adjustments.
Appointment Cost: $1,250
Step 6:
Following Your Personalized Protocol

After your 2nd appointment, you’ll talk with our team to review pricing (e.g. follow-up appointments and therapies) for the continued implementation and support of your personalized protocol.
You’re now fully on your path to restoring your health! We’ll be with you every step of the way, with follow-up appointments, ongoing monitoring, protocol refinements when needed, therapy sessions, and more.
