Extracellular vesicles (EV) therapy is a newer cellular regeneration technique, following in the footsteps of other proven therapies like stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP). This therapy can improve signaling between cells, reduce inflammation, cause cells to regenerate, and modify the body’s immune response when it’s not healthy.

EV uses cell-derived membrane structures – containing lipids, RNAs (not to be confused with mRNA), metabolites, growth factors, and cytokines – from donated human umbilical cord blood or from the patient’s own blood. This treatment is administered through a direct injection into the treatment area or through an IV.

The entire treatment happens in our office, on an outpatient basis. There is no need to make special arrangements, and there is no long downtime period for recovery.

There are many conditions that can be improved with this therapy or a combination of extracellular vesicles therapy treatment and other interventions.

Extracellular vesicles (EV) therapy treatments have helped with:

  • Chronic inflammation
  • Pain from autoimmune disorders or fibromyalgia
  • Degenerative diseases
  • Lyme disease
