Regenerative medicine seeks to replace tissue or organs that have been damaged by disease, trauma, or congenital issues, by delivering specific types of cells, or cell product, to help stimulate the healing process in a diseased or damaged area of your body.

Regenerative medicine complements our component of what we do here at in2GREAT – which is identifying and addressing the root-cause of your illness or disease. These treatments provide us another proven tool we can use to help you with your unique health needs, and help your body function properly again.

Depending on your unique health needs, we may recommend these treatments to help you address and recover from an illness or disease. Being new, these treatments are still considered experimental. But studies have so far shown tremendous results, with little to no side effects. Our care team is well educated on these regenerative medicine treatments. If you have a question about any of these, please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask.

Regenerative medicine can help with:

  • Pain
  • Chronic inflammation
  • Degenerative diseases (e.g. Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s)
  • Lyme disease
  • Damaged tissue and joints
  • Skin restoration and hair rejuvenation
  • Osteoarthritis

The different regenerative medicine therapies we provide:

A2M Protein Concentrate

Blood plasma is produced by the human body and contains a high level of proteins and growth factors that have healing properties that help the body repair itself. Proteins can be concentrated from the patient’s own blood and reinjected into damaged areas of the body to promote regeneration. These proteins can stop the progression of painful conditions like osteroarthritis, rather than masking the symptoms of pain and aging.

Since this treatment is non-invasive, you don’t need to worry about a long recovery time. Most patients can return to work the following day. This is a great alternative to addictive pain medications, major surgeries, and expensive cosmetic treatments.

Protein Concentrate treatments have helped with:

  • Damaged Tissue & Joints
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Pain Conditions
  • Acute Injuries
  • Chronic Tendon Problems
  • Hair Rejuvenation

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelets are naturally produced by the human body and possess healing properties that help the body repair itself. Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP, contains a high concentration of platelets and other growth factors that promote regeneration and can accelerate the repair of damaged tissues. This is derived from the patient’s own blood and is 100% natural. PRP acts as an agent that works to heal, rather than masking the symptoms of pain and skin imperfections.

Since PRP is non-invasive, you don’t need to worry about a long recovery time. Most patients can return to work the following day. PRP is a great alternative to addictive pain medications and major surgeries.

PRP treatments have helped with:

  • Damaged Tissue & Joints
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Pain Conditions
  • Acute Injuries
  • Chronic Tendon Problems
  • Skin Restoration
  • Hair Rejuvenation
  • Sexual Optimization

Extracellular Vesicles Therapy

Extracellular vesicles (EV) therapy is a newer cellular regeneration technique, following in the footsteps of other proven therapies like stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP). This therapy can improve signaling between cells, reduce inflammation, cause cells to regenerate, and modify the body’s immune response when it’s not healthy.

The entire treatment happens in our office, on an outpatient basis. There is no need to make special arrangements, and there is no long downtime period for recovery.

There are many conditions that can be improved with this therapy or a combination of extracellular vesicles therapy treatment and other interventions.

Extracellular vesicles (EV) therapy treatments have helped with:

  • Chronic inflammation
  • Pain from autoimmune disorders or fibromyalgia
  • Degenerative diseases
  • Lyme disease

Prolozone Therapy

A form of regenerative medicine in which we use injections of ozone in liquid or gas along with other therapeutic elements like b-vitamins, magnesium, and procain to stimulate the body’s tissues to heal themselves.

The root word “Prolo” of Prolozone comes from the Latin word “Prolix” which is broken down in the pre-fix “Pro” meaning forward or extend and the and the second par “liquēre” which means fluid. Combining the two – the concept is born to extend the life of tissue being fluid moving forward. Combining the root word Prolix with Ozone we get Prolozone – meaning this therapy using ozone technology allows us to help the tissue being treated to extend its life in a healthy and fluid fashion.

Effects of Prolozone Therapy

As ozone is introduced into the affected tissue, it immediately improves blood circulation. Because of this increase in blood flow, the tissue is flooded with a fresh flow of oxygen and nutrients as well as antioxidant action of the ozone.

Ozone will also attract recovery and scaffolding cells like fibroblasts and chondrocytes. This initiates a cascade of events that triggers tissue regeneration. To enhance this mechanism further, your provider will likely combine with nutrients mentioned above like B Vitamins, Magnesium, and MSM. As your provider assesses your individual needs – they may combine or stack therapies to further speed recovery with recommendations like PRP, A2M or extracellular vesicles.

When the tissue is in acute inflammation your nerves are screaming at your triggering pain to be part of the healing process. With the utilization of Prolozone – the ozone will act as a natural and safe pain relief mechanism. The ozone helps to calm and quiet those angry nerve endings. Therefore reducing the need for dangerous pan meds.

Conditions that Prolozone therapy can assist in recovery of:

  • Joint degeneration
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Frozen Shoulder Syndrome
  • Tennis Elbow
  • Plantas Fasciitis
  • Back pain resulting from damaged vertebra or discs
  • Osteoarthritis in the spine, knee, or hips
  • Shoulder pain from rotator cuff injuries
  • Traumatic sports injuries
  • and more
