Though Dr. Scott Roethle, MD has been with in2GREAT since 2017, it wasn’t until 2021 that he became a full-time part of our care team. So we realize, many of our patients may not know who he is.
Dr. Roethle provides holistic primary care delivered through a functional medicine mindset. He also works closely with our other providers and patients at varying points in their treatment or optimization plans, and helps patients by utilizing our many integrative therapies.
Beyond the Q/As below, you can read more about Dr. Roethle’s holistic primary care services here.
Tell us about your path to joining in2GREAT?
I have always been excited about helping people get and stay healthy. Over the years I grew increasingly frustrated with mainstream medicine and its approach to symptom management, as opposed to healing, health, and wellness. I didn’t want to see patients endlessly taking prescription drugs and having expensive procedures, while still living with sickness and disease.
How do you help patients at in2GREAT?
I get to do many different and wonderful things at in2GREAT. I get to help patients with our new Holistic Primary Care, doing routine primary care oversight; I help patients overcome chronic mental health issues with our ketamine infusions, chronic joint issues with our regenerative therapies, and a multitude of other symptoms and diseases via functional medicine and IV infusions.
What do you uniquely do, that another provider at another practice maybe wouldn’t do?
The biggest difference between what I do and what others might do is the combination of so many different therapies. We don’t just look at one symptom with one treatment option. We utilize a number of therapies to help address the whole patient. So not only are we doing ketamine infusions for refractory depression or anxiety, we also have them do supplements, diet changes, laser treatments, and other IV infusions. Similarly if someone has a joint issue, we are recommending supplements, laser treatment, and regenerative therapies.
At the end of the day, what do you consider a successful day?
Any day that I can help someone is a successful day. Many of our patients have been dealing with health issues for years, and nothing has helped them regain their health and wellbeing. Seeing a patient have positive results after years of suffering is very rewarding.
What motivates you professionally?
I am motivated to make a difference and have a positive impact on my patients.
What motivates you personally?
My family is my motivation. I am blessed with four amazing children that keep me going.
What would you like people to know about you, that they may not already know?
In my spare time I enjoy time with my kids, working out, traveling, scuba diving, watching football, and volunteering with the student group at my church.

My passion is to help people get and stay healthy. We practice differently in order to do this for our patients. I don’t practice in the traditional medical model, where most other doctors just prescribe more pills and procedures to manage symptoms of serious disease. What we do at In2GREAT is truly top-notch HEALTHcare!
